A Slice of Cherry Pie
and Fabulicious Food!
My lovely book A Slice of Cherry Pie arrived last week, and I have finally had a chance to look at it properly……what a great selection of recipes, and to cover all occasions too ~formal and family dining.
I was lucky enough to win this book at Ren’s fabulicious food event, called Simple and in Season ~ my recipe, Vanilla and Cream Terrine with a Compote of Mixed Summer Berries won the July event, and was I surprised, as I was up against some pretty stiff competition!
You should stop by Ren’s current Simple and in Season event for August, what a great idea to promote local seasonal produce and reduce our carbon footprint.
MANY thanks Ren ~ I shall be showcasing a few recipes from the book over the next few weeks and posting a review of the book too!

congrats, well deserved… I appreciate that you plan to post a review and recipe from the freebie… i always like to see promotions carried through (and makes it easier to ask for freebies from others).
Oh and such stunning photos as always!
